Please note that this brush is made out of weasel hair and not wolf hair. Many misunderstandings arise from the fact that both of these types of hair share the same Chinese characters, Lang Hao, and therefore brushes often are mislabeled. Here at The Chinese Calligraphist, we label high quality weasel hair brushes like the ones in the Wolf Whisker set as wolf hair, and more basic quality is labeled weasel hair. Labeled as wolf hair, the weasel hair in the Candid Artisan brushes is of the highest quality.
